Chris Beyrer, M.D., MPH, is the inaugural Desmond M. Tutu professor in public health and human rights and professor at Johns Hopkins University. From 2014-16, he served as president at the International AIDS Society. Beyrer has extensive experience in conducting international collaborative research and has spent much of his career focusing on health and human rights.

Chris Collins is president of Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria where he leads the organization's efforts in Washington, D.C., to secure investment in the Global Fund and related global health programs. With more than 20 years of experience working in HIV advocacy and policy, he previously headed mobilization efforts at UNAIDS in Geneva, and led amfAR’s policy work in Washington. Chris holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University.

Chris recently served as the president and CEO of PATH, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of people around the world by developing innovative health technologies, strengthening health care systems, and encouraging healthy behaviors.

Since joining Chemonics Mr. Gegenheimer has been in the MEL department supporting proposal and project teams in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

He also leads external ESG engagement and efforts to align Pfizer’s Purpose and ESG strategy with the Sustainable Development Goals and works closely with governments and civil society on strategic initiatives to improve global health and development.
