His research focuses on how businesses are creating a more resilient and sustainable capitalism by focusing on the elusive triple bottom line of environmental, social, and financial performance.

He has been engaged for four decades in the management and application of public health engineering as a contributor to overall international development. His work has ranged from designing and managing USAID’s largest water supply, sanitation, and hygiene project to leading efforts to capture experiences and best practices from national programs for communication across the global water sector.

Christopher H. Purdy is the president and CEO of DKT International. From 1996 to 2011, he served as country director of DKT programs in Turkey, Ethiopia and Indonesia, where he managed the largest private social marketing family planning program in the world. He was also executive vice president from 2011-2013. His professional interests center on advancing the cause of social marketing for improved health, and socially responsible capitalism.
