Colleen O'Holleran

Colleen O’Holleran is a program manager at Landesa, where she leads capacity- and network-development initiatives. She was previously at Engineers Without Borders and has consulted for development projects in Asia, Africa and the Americas. O'Holleran serves on the Board of Directors of Un Mundo and the Golok Scholarship Foundation. She holds a master’s in sustainable development from the School for International Training and a bachelor’s in anthropology from the University of Colorado.

Colm O'Molloy is a multi-platform journalist based in Washington D.C., where where he reports on North American stories for BBC News and other outlets. He has extensive experience of working in conflict zones, including Nigeria and Afghanistan. O'Molloy conducted extensive research into global kidnap and ransom trends as a fellow at Columbia University's Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.

Colum Lynch is an award-winning reporter and Senior Global Reporter for Devex. He covers the intersection of development, diplomacy, and humanitarian relief at the United Nations and beyond. Prior to Devex, Colum reported on foreign policy and national security for Foreign Policy Magazine and the Washington Post. Colum was awarded the 2011 National Magazine Award for digital reporting for his blog Turtle Bay. He has also won an award for groundbreaking reporting on the U.N.’s failure to protect civilians in Darfur.

Conor Savoy

Conor Savoy

Conor Savoy is the executive director of the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network. He has over a decade of experience working on issues related to U.S. foreign policy and international development. Prior to joining MFAN, he was the director of Policy and Advocacy for the Global Innovation Fund, a social-first impact investor. Previously, he served as deputy director of the Project on Prosperity and Development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. At CSIS, Conor helped build an innovative research program focused on the evolving role of the private sector in international development. He remains an active senior associate (nonresident) with his former program at CSIS. Earlier in his career, Conor worked as a researcher at the Council on Foreign Relations, concentrating on U.S. foreign and national security policy. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from Boston University and a B.A. with honors in History from George Washington University.

Constance Ching is a technical consultant on advocacy and implementation of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes working with Alive & Thrive’s regional office in Southeast Asia. She has numerous years of experience in BMS code-related work, having previously worked for IBFAN-ICDC, a leading provider of capacity building programs to governments, U.N. agencies, and NGOs on BMS code implementation and monitoring. She has participated in numerous World Health Assembly and other global forums to advocate for stronger BMS code-related measures.

As senior team leader for gender equality and health at IntraHealth International, Constance Newman creates practical tools and methodologies to help decision-makers and leaders at all levels understand the challenges of gender inequality and what it means for the health workforce. Newman has over 25 years of experience in health and development, conducting research on gender discrimination in the health workforce in Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya.
