Craig Valters is a research officer for politics and governance at the Overseas Development Institute. He has an interest in security and justice provision in conflict-affected regions of the world. His work is also concerned with how aid organizations can learn and adapt to the complex social environments they work in, with his recent research analyzing the value of Theory of Change approaches.

Cristina Alvarez Mingote

Cristina Alvarez Mingote

Cristina Alvarez Mingote's deliberate research and resulting understanding of the political economy and governance that impact farmers' lives contributes to AgReach's ability to design research-based programs that work. Eight years of research experience has prepared Cristina to assess the political economy of development within varied contexts, most recently concerning the public provision of agricultural extension services. In this role, she addresses issues of governance, accountability, and farmers' involvement in extension service delivery. AgReach applies Cristina's knowledge of governance, political economy, economic, and political development towards strengthening sustainable agricultural extension systems that empower smallholder farmers.
Cristina Bisson

Cristina Bisson

Cristina Bisson is a registered nurse and public health practitioner with more than 20 years of experience leading multimillion-dollar global health programs in Africa and Asia, including in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Senegal, and Vietnam. She serves as the health systems strengthening director in RTI International’s International Development Group. She is responsible for program development and implementation to strengthen country health systems, particularly integrated service delivery and governance, ensuring access to and use of equitable, high-quality, and sustainable services.
Cristina Donini

Cristina Donini

Cristina Donini is head of program leadership and strategy in the Product Development Department at Medicines for Malaria Venture in Geneva. She has 20 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, and joined MMV in 2012. Cristina leads a group of project directors in the Product Development Department, steering and overseeing the development of new antimalarials for treatment and prevention from first-in-human to registration. Cristina holds a doctorate from the University of Parma, and a PhD in Biopharmaceuticals from the University of Parma in collaboration with Purdue University.

Crystal Lander

Crystal Lander is an experienced senior policy and development expert both in the United States and globally. Ms. Lander is currently the executive director of global affairs at Pathfinder International leading the design and delivering advocacy campaigns, overseeing advocacy strategies, and serving as an ambassador for the organization globally. Prior to this role, Ms. Lander developed and led the advocacy team at Living Goods, where she managed the organization’s engagement on global health policy.

Crystal Wells is a roving communications officer with International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through emergency health care services and training. She has worked in the NGO sector for nine years and has traveled extensively to cover needs on the grounds and responses to wars, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks.

Curtis S. Chin is a former U.S. ambassador to the ADB (2007-2010) under U.S. presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Presently, Chin is a senior fellow and executive-in-residence at the Asian Institute of Technology. He is also the managing director at RiverPeak Group.

English’s role includes analyzing World Poll data and writing World News articles for www.gallup.com, Gallup’s premier channel for news and analysis. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her master’s degree in public policy from the Harris School of Public Policy Analysis at the University of Chicago.
