United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon has appointed Gana Fofang as the global agency’s new deputy envoy for Guinea-Bissau. Fofang will also serve as the U.N. resident coordinator and resident representative of the U.N. Development Program in the country. He is currently the U.N. resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in Sao Tome and Principe.
