Belgium has pledged to strengthen the fight against global hunger with
to the World Food Program. Of the sum, USD13.5 million will be used to provide food aid to Kenya, Somalia, Niger, Pakistan, Yemen, Laos and Ethiopia. The remaining USD2.4 million will go to the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service, which transports relief supplies and aid workers to some of the world's hardest-to-reach places.
