    Bob McMullan Nominated as Australian Executive Director at EBRD

    The Australian government has nominated Bob McMullan as executive director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Mr McMullan will be appointed by the EBRD for a term that will end in July 2012, pending a vote by constituency members. 

    Current executive director John Eyers will not be seeking another term.

    If appointed, McMullan, a former parliamentary secretary for international development assistance, will represent a constituency that includes Australia, South Korea, New Zealand and Egypt, according to a news release from the Australian government.
