The Inter-American Development Bank is lending Brazil USD10 million to scale up lending activities for microentrepreneurs in the food services sector in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The loan will support the credit program of wholesale distributor Tenda Atacado, Ltda. for street vendors, small food shops and other small grocery suppliers. The program seeks to help food microentrepreneurs purchase appliances, equipment, carts, counters and other assets.
