Caution on Using Herbicides

    Herbicides can kill crops if used wrongly. This is why it is important to know the appropriate method and herbicides for specific weeds, according to Leonard Gianessi, director of CropLife Foundation's Crop Protection Research Institute. He says there is a risk that farmers will abandon the technology if governments do not ensure adequate education in using it.
