China’s trade dealings with Iran constitute normal business that does not affect the interest of other countries or that of the international community as a whole, a spokesperson for China’s foreign ministry said, according to Voice of America. This was in response to comments by a U.S. official who urged China to fully implement the international sanctions imposed by the U.N. against Iran and North Korea.
