The Asian Development Bank has approved a $120 million loan to help improve urban infrastructure in five remote counties in northwestern China.
The loan will be used for the construction and rehabilitation of roads, water management facilities, water supply facilities and heating systems in five counties in China’s Altay prefecture, which is located in the northern part of the country along its borders with Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia.
