Jordan and the Canadian International Development Agency plan to sign a memorandum of understanding that will enlist CIDA’s support in upgrading the Middle Eastern country’s education system, the Jordan Times reports. CIDA will provide an additional 20 million Canadian dollars (USD19 million) for the second phase of the Education Reform for a Knowledge Economy initiative, a reform program focusing on schools.
