The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will focus on developing a sustainable financial sector in Kazakhstan by strengthening the country’s private sector and assisting in efforts to diversify its economy. Under the new strategy, the bank will seek to address immediate financing needs of the corporate sector and promote innovative, best business and environment practices, including energy efficiency and modernization.
