EU aid to change focus in the Philippines?

Johann Farnhammer on the EU’s changing focus in the Philippines

The Philippine economy is growing at a rapid pace — so how should development partners and aid donors adjust to this situation?

While the European Union remains focused on health, that could change in the near future and EU-funded programs become more targeted toward strengthening the rule of law, job creation and renewable energy, Johann Farnhammer, the top aid official at the EU Delegation in Manila, told Devex Director for Global Advisory and Analysis Pete Troilo on the sidelines of the first Devex Partnerships and Career Forum in Manila.

Click on the above clip to know more about the European Union's future plans for the Philippines, including Mindanao, as well as a heightened engagement with local NGOs and civil society organizations.
