EU Earmarks USD386 Million for Bosnia-Herzegovina

The European Union intends to provide nearly USD386 million to capital infrastructure schemes and other development projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina. “We know that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank have rather large funds available to invest in Bosnia and infrastructural projects,” head of the European Commission delegation to Bosnia, Dimitris Kourkoulas, said. Kourkoulas added that a strategy is being created for future cooperation with the Southern European country. (“EU to invest 300 mln Euros on BiH” - Bosnian News, Oct. 31, 2008)
