EU Leaders Want Early EIB Fund Disbursement

European leaders will ask the European Investment Bank to release nearly USD44 billion in advance for small businesses in the face of the global financial crisis, U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown revealed. EU finance ministers have authorized EIB to loan nearly USD41 million for small and medium-sized firms by 2011.
