EU Urged to Stop Support for Palestinian Education System

The British Taxpayers’ Alliance has joined forces with Israel in urging European donors to stop funding the educational system in the Palestinian territories, which, it said, aims to “exhort children to become Jihadists and praise suicide bombers,” The Jewish Chronicle reports. The group particularly referred to aid from the U.K. Department for International Development, which amounted to USD88 million in 2008, on top of its European Union contribution of USD71 million in the same year.
