The donor conference in Berlin on June 24 aims to gather USD183.6 million for projects to improve the Palestinian police and legal system. The money will be specifically used to provide police training and build court houses, prisons and police stations. “The Palestinian population must be able to feel safe on the streets again,” one German diplomat remarked.
