The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria will grant some USD3 billion in fresh funding to combat the three diseases, Global Fund Executive Director Michel Kazatchkine announced. The fund’s board is expected to approve the new two-year funding during their meeting in India over the next two days, Kazatchkine added.
