The African Development Bank has agreed to write off Guinea-Bissau’s debt worth USD60.4 million. The nation may also see an additional USD23.7 million of its debt cancelled on an exceptional basis under the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries Initiative, according to a Jan. 27 AfDB release.
