Hillary Clinton Names Global Partnerships Envoy

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has named Kris Balderston as special representative for global partnerships at the Global Partnership Initiative within the State Department. Balderston previously served as Clinton’s deputy chief of staff.

The Global Partnership Initiative within the office of the U.S. secretary of state has recently unveiled the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, a United Nations Foundation-led public-private partnership that focuses on creating a global market for clean cookstoves unveiled in September’s Clinton Global Initiative summit.
