Hundreds of Hungarians, led by radical groups, demonstrated Monday at the Slovak embassy in Budapest to protest police action in which 50 people were injured at a soccer game in Slovakia, Nepszabadsag said. Slovak police claimed they charged Hungarian fans in the ethnic-Hungarian majority city of Dunajska Streda on Nov. 1 because they had attacked officers, the newspaper said, citing an “unofficial translation” of a report distributed to Hungarian lawmakers. “Extremist” Websites in Hungary organized groups to attend the game, said a Hungarian police officer.
