Uruguay secured an USD80 million credit from the Inter-American Development Bank to improve the sewer service and quality of water in Ciudad de la Costa. The National Water Supply and Sanitation Administration will manage the project, which seeks to construct a new effluent treatment facility to serve the coastal region in the Department of Canelones.
