IFPMA and IFRC: A nontraditional partnership

IFPMA and IFRC: A non-traditional partnership

How did an industry group like the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations decide to partner with a traditional international humanitarian organization like the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies?

“We’re always on the look for partnerships, maybe with organizations you would not think it could be possible,” IFPMA Director of Public Affairs and Public Health Policy Mario Ottiglio told Devex Associate Editor Richard Jones in this video interview on the sidelines of a recent event in Geneva co-hosted by IFPMA and the IFRC.

He added that teaming up with the IFRC was a good opportunity to “shake up the routine,” go beyond business-as-usual and “try to make a difference.”
