    The International Monetary Fund and Ukraine have forged a technical agreement, allowing the Eastern European nation to access some $3.3 billion in IMF financing,

    reported. The sum forms part of the $16.4 billion IMF standby deal under which $7.3 billion has so far been disbursed for Ukraine. The technical agreement now awaits the approval of the fund's executive board.
