International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn said the world's advanced economies – the US, Western Europe and Japan – are already in depression, and that the IMF could slash its global growth forecasts further. The IMF managing director made the comments to reporters after a speech at the South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Governors' Conference in Malaysia.
