The U.S. government and two international partners will launch on May 26 a $100 million initiative to aid orphans and vulnerable children and their families affected by HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia.
The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and U.S. Agency for International Development are partnering with Pact and UNICEF for the program, which is seen as one the largest of its kind in the world, Ezago.com notes.
The initiative seeks to help more than 500,000 Ethiopian children annually for the next five years.
