India expects to secure USD3 billion from the World Bank by June 2009, with half of it to arrive in March, according to Indian Finance Minister P. Chidambaram. “I have spoken to President Zoellick, Managing Director and also the Country Director of the World Bank,” Chidambaram said. “We have already sent a preliminary list of projects that we would like to bring forward both under the IBRD and IDA window.
