    IsDB-Oxford Program Targets Science and Technology Scholars

    The Islamic Development Bank and University of Oxford have launched a joint scholarship program in the field of science and technology.

    The scholarship will support three-year doctorate programs in Oxford for nationals of IsDB member countries. It is part of IsDB’s broader effort to help develop human resources in science and high technology sectors that are deficient but crucial for member countries’ sustainable development.

    In April 2009, the bank unveiled a similar joint scholarship program with Cambridge University, which has so far supported 14 students.
