Japan has extended around $108 million to the African Development Bank in support of the latter’s projects benefiting small and medium-sized enterprises and the rest of the private sector in Africa.
The concessional loan fulfills Japan’s commitment at the G-8 Gleneagles summit to provide $1 billion to Africa through AfDB.
