Japan seeks to boost the joint emergency and recovery efforts of the Pan-American Health Organization and World Health Organization in Haiti with an additional USD3.5 million worth of aid to the two organizations, WHO said in a press release. The new contribution brings Japan’s total assistance to WHO’s Haiti quake relief efforts to USD4.5 million.
