The World Bank loaned Kazakhstan USD117.7 million to shore up its Health Sector Technology Transfer and Institutional Reform Project. The program aims to enhance the country’s healthcare institutions and bring it up to par with international standards. The agency also announced an additional loan of USD13.4 million for a Technology Commercialization Project designed to prop up Kazakhstan’s scientific base.
