A new round of infighting is looming in Kenya’s Orange Democratic Movement Party over pending cases at the International Criminal Court.
ODM’s parliamentary secretary Ababu Namwamba has announced that his party decided to retain counsel for its members Eldoret North MP William Ruto, Tinderet MP Henry Kosgey and radio journalist Joshua arap Sang, who were summoned to appear before the ICC Pre-Trial chamber. The party’s secretary-general Anyang’ Nyong’o, however, rejected the report, saying no such decision has been made, Daily Nation reports.
