    The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria granted 1 billion Kenyan shillings ($12.71 million) to boost Kenya's fight against the three diseases,

    reported. The decision followed meetings between Public Health and Sanitation Minister Beth Mugo and Global Fund Executive Director Michel Kazachkine in Geneva, Switzerland. The Global Fund earlier said that Kenya was at risk of forfeiting funding due to poor accountability.
