United Nations envoy Martti Ahtisaari, according to Deutsche Presse Agentur, doubts that talks about Kosovo’s future status would succeed as differences between Serbia and Kosovo remain so large. “Even if we sat at the negotiation table for the rest of my life, I don’t think the parties would move in the negotiations,” Ahtisaari told Finnish news agency STT. The former Finnish president said that his team would continue negotiations with the two sides.
