The Millennium Challenge Corporation will grant USD362.6 million over a five-year period to alleviate poverty and increase economic growth in Lesotho. The funding will support 17 health, water and private sector development projects. Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili also announced that the U.S. government will provide USD140 million to combat AIDS in the African nation over the next five years.
