8,000 professionals gathered in Brussels this week for the European Development Days. This year’s theme was gender equality, with conversations surrounding the fundamental inequality that underpins discrimination, violence, and imbalances: the inequality of power.

In this week’s special edition episode, Devex reporter Vince Chadwick weighs in on whether the European Development Days matter — and what might come of them. We also hear from advocates and leaders, including comedienne Nidhi Goyal and Oxfam Executive Director Winnie Byanyima on the #MeToo movement, and European Investment Bank Head of Strategy Maria Shaw-Barragan on EIB’s gender strategy.
