Conflict victims in the Democratic Republic of Congo will benefit from an additional USD2.6 million in humanitarian aid from the Australian government, Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith announced. Of the sum, nearly USD2 million will be allocated to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF and the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
