    Nigeria inaugurated a committee on energy cooperation with Brazil Aug. 31. The Joint Nigeria-Brazil Energy Cooperation Working Group will help to expedite the development of the African nation’s hydropower sector. Nigerian Vice President Namadi Sambo said Brazil has expressed interest in partnering with his nation for the completion of the Zungeru hydropower plant, Afrique Avenir reports.
