The Nigeria Governors’ Forum and U.K. Department for International Development are creating a set of indicators for the peer review of Nigerian states.
The state peer review will look at the performance of state governments in promoting development, taking into account their achievements and challenges in implementing their policies and programs.
Officials have so far looked into benchmarks for health and economic development. They will also identify standards for agriculture, education and environmental development, Leadership reports.
