Several Canada-based aid organizations helping in Haiti relief operations and fundraisers agreed that not all of the funds pledged for their donation drives are sent to Haiti, according to the Canadian Press. These agencies explained that a percentage of the donations, usually between 2 percent and 10 percent, is used by aid organizations to cover their administrative and logistical costs.
