Obama Approves Pakistan Aid Bill

U.S. President Barack Obama has signed the Pakistan aid bill into law behind closed doors,

reports. The new law will provide USD7.5 billion worth of nonmilitary aid for infrastructure, agricultural development, water management and energy generation in the conflict-torn Asian country. To be disbursed over five years, the money will also support Pakistan's judicial system.
