The governing board of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) gave its approval to a grant worth USD7.1 million to buttress a broad spectrum of development programs all over the world. Of the total amount, USD3 million will go to 21 relief groups in the West Bank, while another USD3 million will support a joint OFID-United Nations initiative that hopes to give developing countries easier access to HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services.
