German pilots Uwe Thomas Carstensen and Martin Grohganz are flying around the world to help mobilize funding for Ugandan children and orphans.
The two pilots set out from Germany on Nov. 11 and will fly across 20 African nations to raise more than USD100,000 for education projects in Uganda.
“It is our joy that as we set to retire we do something for the Ugandan kids. We want kids in Uganda to be educated and have a better life,” Carstensen told New Vision.
Carstensen and Grohganz have so far visited Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Uganda. They will end their tour in February next year.
