The Philippine central bank has endorsed in principle a USD250 million World Bank loan earmarked for food crisis response development policy. The bank has also approved in principle another USD30 million loan from the Washington-based lender to support the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao regional government, Reuters reports.
