    The parent banks of the nine largest foreign-owned credit institutions in Romania vowed long-term commitment to the country during a March 16 meeting of the European Bank Coordination Initiative in Brussels.

    These banks include Erste Group Bank, Raiffeisen Group, Eurobank EFG, the National Bank of Greece, UniCredit Group, Société Générale, Alpha Bank, Volksbank International and Piraeus Bank.
