    Romania gets $180M loan from the World Bank

    The World Bank earmarked $180 million for roads and railways improvement in Romania to reduce transport costs and improve national road networks. According to the bank, the funds will fulfill “an urgent need to speed up the improvement of infrastructure to raise productivity and sustain growth.” Romania?s transport infrastructure development is in preparation for the country?s accession to the European Union in January next year.
