#FeedingDev: A new campaign by Devex and partners shines a light on ways to feed our planet’s growing population. Photos by: Chemonics, Fintrac, World Bank, ACDI/VOCA

How can we have a food-secure world?

Earlier this week, Devex, joined by ACDI/VOCA, Chemonics, Fintrac, GAIN, Nestlé and Tetra Tech, launched Feeding Development to highlight innovative ways to feed the Earth’s burgeoning population without sacrificing the environment. Lasting through the month of July, this online conversation focuses on the links between the environment, land rights, supply chains and nutrition, and how that can be strengthened.

“Doubling net food availability will not be easy, but it is possible,” wrote Jason Clay, senior vice president for market transformation at World Wildlife Fund. “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something. Think about it.”

You can share your thoughts about how to make food security a reality worldwide by tweeting us using #FeedingDev. Observers and industry leaders have already chimed in.
