South Africa’s Department of Health refuted claims that the HIV/AIDS projects financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria have failed due to the department’s inefficiency. The South African agency said the fund is currently examining its progress report so that the third quarter (July-September) funding will be made available to non-governmental organizations.
