Widespread weather-induced power shortages are seen to pull down Tanzania’s output this year, the International Monetary Fund says. The African nation’s output growth in 2011 is expected to decrease to 6 percent, according to the fund, adding that increased global food and fuel prices could also contribute to a slowdown in Tanzania’s economic activity.
